FIRE FROM ABOVE
My heart in prayer to God asking for our marriage to be restored. As I walk through and live out true repentance on my part, I pray that there will be forgiveness, healing and restoration for the sake of our marriage. I have questions and doubts at times, but I am trusting that God will work all things out for good and that, ultimately, our marriage and family will be even better than we had ever imagined as we heal and grow together through this incredibly painful trial.
All hope seems to die
In the shadow of pain.
Can our marriage survive?
Be restored once again?
Can I be remade
After I have been broken?
Am I still right to trust
In the words You have spoken?
In my heart I know
That death has occurred
You’ve turned what was stone
Into flesh by your Word
In waiting you teach
My heart not to fear
In times of great sorrow
My God is still near
Don’t let my strength fail,
Don’t let my hope fade
Don’t let us lose sight
Of the promise we made
No treasure on Earth
No riches in life
Compare to the gem
That I call my wife
For my wife I pray,
“Lord, speak to her heart,
Speak words that will heal
While we are apart”
Your Promise is true
And this dream we call love
Can be reignited
With fire from above
